~my lovely guppies~

sedang orang duk sibuk2 bela sugar glider, aku pon kononnye nak ikot trend la.. nak gak bela binatang. leh wat teman n main2. so ingat nak beli sugar glider la jugak. tengok2 amek kaww.. mahal giler!! ingat leh dapat dalam puluh2 ringgit camtu jer. rupa2nye ratus2 ringgit. dah la nak belanya bukan senang. kos nak bela pon tinggi woo. aishhh... xleh jadi. cancellll...!!! last2 1 aritu aku mimpi pakwa aku jumpa aku n dia adiahkan aku ikan yang letak dalam plastik tu. so dari situ aku dpt idea nak bela ikan. ikan ape? haaaa... ni la ikan die. ikan guppy. comey x? ekor dia cantik tau.

ni pakwa aku yang adiahkan. 1 set lengkap. mintak ikan, tp dia bagi skali akuarium, batu, rumpai and paling penting of course la makanan ikan kan. xleh bla nye bg batu mcm la akuarium tu besar sgt. aku try taruh, tgk2 nampak batu lagi menonjol dari ikan tu. sabor je lah.. pape pon thanks abg sbb sanggup belikan syg ikan guppy ni walaupon di saat2 abg tgh sesak duit. hihihi..

ingat senang ke nak bela ikan ni. susah gak la. kene jaga mkn dia. air dia. pencahayaan matahari. suhu xleh sejuk or panas sgt. taik dia pon kene jaga tau. ekeke.. mula2 tu susah gak la. maklumlah.. first time ni aku ada home pet. hehe.. dari 2 ekor bertambah anak2.. ade yg idop ade yg mati. masa mula2 bapak ikan tu mati. sedih sgt. tu menunjukkan aku mcm xpandai jaga. bg merawat kesedihan aku ni..cewaahhh...ayt xleh bla. pkwa aku nak belikan ikan yg lain. aku rasa hepi sgt. last2 kedai ikan tu tutup. then tangkap ikan yg dlm longkang jer. huhuhu.. tp waktu tu aku tetap teruja sbb pakwa aku sanggup turun g tangkap walaupon org yg duk lalu jalan raya tu pandang pelik je kat kami. thanks abg,. abg terlalu baik pd syg sampai sanggup wat pe saje bg syg hepi.

masa cuti sem, aku pikir2 camna la nak bawak balik ikan2 ni. nak pikir duk dlm bas nanti camna. pikir ape reaksi mak ayah aku 1 hal lagi. tp alhamdulillah ikan slmt sampai dari sintok ke bota. jauh tu kalo ikot kan. mmg musafir btl la ikan2 aku ni. nasib baik mak ayah aku x bising sgt. ayah aku pon mcm suke je tgk ikan2 aku ni. so aku adiahkan dia sket ikan ni. mmg pendek kata sape yg tgk ikan2 ni terus diorg suke. kui3..ntah ye ke dak.

amacam? korang berminat x nak bela ikan? kalo minat leh la join da club. leh kite share hobi kite ni same2. or may be korang nak share tentang pet korang pulak. ok gak.. so sudi2kan la komen yer..

~welcome to Tuntung Centre~

Bota Kanan Terrapin Wildlife Conservation Centre, located 40km south of Ipoh, Perak, was established by the Perak Wildlife and National Parks Department in 1967 to protect the population of tuntung, or river terrapinFrom Ipoh, look out for the roadsign pointing to Bota Kanan. Upon reaching Bota Kanan, search for the sign pointing to the ''Pusat Pembiakan Tuntung Bota Kanan'' - you may have to ask around. The Bota Kanan Tuntung Centre is open every day from 8.30am- 4.30pm. Entrance is free. The best time to go is between 10am and 11am, when the terrapins are fed.

These amphibians are considered endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). In Peninsular Malaysia, there are 17 species of tortoises and turtles. Of these, 10 species are freshwater tortoises or terrapins, and of these 10, two are river terrapin, Batagur baska and Callagur borneonsis. The Bota Kanan Tuntung Centre helps to protect the tuntung. In addition to educating the public and doing research on the habitat of the river terrapin, the Bota Kanan Tuntung Centre also maintain a nesting area and hatchery. Every year the centre releases 500 to 600 young terrapins into the river.

Until the late 1960's river terrapins were plentiful in Sungai Perak. This is especially true in places such as Kampung Teluk Kepayang, Pulau Padang and Kampung Layang-Layang. However, destruction of their habitat along with the collection of their eggs have brought their numbers down at an alarming rate. In addition to human causes, natural changes to their environment, including silting, changes in the river flow and water pollution also affected the tuntung population.

These centre provide the opportunity for our generation to know in depth about the amphibians. Therefore, let's visit Bota Kanan Terrapin Wildlife Conservation Centre now. Don't worry it is free of charge.. (^-^)

~secret recipe by my mom~

Patin Fish In Gulai Tempoyak

This secret recipe I learn from my mom. I like when she cook this dish. Actually, do you know what is tempoyak and how to make it? Tempoyak is a fermented durian flesh that has been kept for a while until it turns sour. For this dish, tempoyak is used to give a special sweet and sour taste to the fish gravy. To make tempoyak is easy. You simply need to take out the flesh of the durian and separate from its seeds. Then leave it in an air tight container for about two weeks before you can turn it into a condiment or gravy.

Ingredients
-3 patin fish flesh
-4 chillies padi, pounded
-2 fresh red chillies, pounded
-1 big onion, pounded
-2 stalks of lemon grass, pounded
-2 table spoon of tempoyak
-1 tea spoon of tumeric powder
-water, for the gravy/soup
-salt, to taste

Methods
Step1. In a pot, mix all ingredients together with the fish.

Step2. Add some water until it covers the whole fish.

Step3. Heat the stove and lay the pot. Stir all ingredients until the fish is cooked.

Step4. Serve with white plain rice for lunch.

Easy right? Can do it although you close your eyes. Haha.. I have self certified myself that I pass with flying colour to cook gulai tempoyak. Hihi.. Tempoyak is the hero in this dish. If you love to eat durian you should love to eat tempoyak and gulai tempoyak too. But for Botarian(Bota) people you MUST to love this dish. COMPULSORY..!! Nyummm.. (^-^)
