~recipe by Chef Hazarimah(ala-ala master chef)~

Batik Cake
ATTENTION..!! This is a good news for chocolate lovers. A very chocolaty taste of cake, batik cake.  Batik cake is so popular now. It's called named as it looks like 'BATIK' which caused by the biscuits in the mix. I have seen my elder sister make batik cake before but the cake is too hard to eat. Opss..Sorry..Hehe.. Then, I asked my friends that know how to make delicious and soft texture of batik cake. But different people have different recipe. I very confuse to choose which recipe. At last, i decided to make it by my own recipe. So here the recipe:

[Ingredients]
3/4 cup of butter
3/4 cup of condensed milk
3/4 cup of milo
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/4 cup of boiling water
1 packet of Marie biscuits

[Preparation]
Step 1> Roughly break each biscuits into quarters, set aside.
Step 2> Place a saucepan over moderate heat and cook butter into it until it melt well.
Step 3> Put condensed milk and stir it well with a whisk or a spoon.
Step 4> Then, add also milo and cocoa  powder.
Step 5> Stirring continuously about 10 minutes until it starts to thicken like custard forms.
Step 6> Once thickened, add the quartered biscuits. Mix until all the biscuits are coated with the custard.
Step 7> If the mixture is too thick, slowly add boiling water and stir it again.
Step 8> Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to the prepared tin that have been wipe with butter. Press down firmly so there are no air pockets in the mixture and to ensure that all the biscuits stick to each other.
Step 9> Then let it cool to the surrounding.
Step 10> Last but not least, place it into a refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours and it is ready to eat.

If you want to make it more crunchy, you can add peanut that have been pounded or nestum and also cornflake. It is up to your choice. The recipe is so simple as everyone can try it. It is a favorite dessert at anytime. If you want to taste that i do, you can come to eat it to my house in Bota. My house is always open for you. Hehe.. Don't forget to try it yourself first ok.. (^-^)
